Pia Patatian is a renowned international sales, production and distribution executive — one of the most respected voices in the global independent film marketplace.
As CEO and founder of Noora Films, Patatian leads a boutique sales agency that develops, produces and finances high-quality, director-driven content for film and television. "Patatian's slate reflects a clear thesis — high-pedigree filmmakers, recognisable global talent, and projects engineered to travel in the international marketplace."
Her career spans more than two decades at the intersection of sales and creative producing. She has overseen worldwide sales on titles featuring Al Pacino, Angelina Jolie, Jessica Chastain, Bryan Cranston, Gerard Butler, Kate Beckinsale, Aaron Eckhart, Chris Pratt, Richard Gere, Uma Thurman, Toni Collette, Andy Garcia, Rosario Dawson, Antonio Banderas, Susan Sarandon, Scott Eastwood, Jared Leto, Brendan Fraser and Kevin Spacey, working with filmmakers including Barry Levinson, Paul Schrader, Russell Mulcahy, Rodrigo Garcia, Abel Ferrara, Emilio Estevez and Jesse V. Johnson.
Beyond representation, Patatian has executive produced acclaimed festival and prestige titles including Abel Ferrara's Padre Pio (Venice), John Trengove's Manodrome (Berlinale) and Michelle Danner's Miranda's Victim — reflecting both her commercial instincts and her commitment to elevated, artistically ambitious filmmaking.
Noora Films continues that thesis: a curated, relationship-driven slate built around filmmakers and stars the global marketplace recognises and rewards.
